Venture Founder
Marlena May Cuesta is passionate about the intersection of education and entrepreneurship. She moved to the Dominican Republic 4 years ago, after graduating from Calvin College in Business & Spanish, to promote holistic development through empowering entrepreneurs. She loves all things impact assessment-related and strives to build treasure chests of data for non-profits so they can tell data-informed, inspirational stories of impact. As Program Director of MoveUp, she provides actionable education to growing entrepreneurs to empower them to change their lives, businesses, and communities. When she’s not working, you can find her running around the island training for triathlons or baking new recipes in her kitchen.
