David Palmer was born and raised in the Detroit area. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2008. He currently lives in Jacmel, Haiti with his 4 adopted children. He runs a non profit foundation, the Joan Rose Foundation and a needlepoint business, Good Threads. David founded the Joan Rose Foundation in 2010, the mission of the foundation is to provide impoverished children the opportunity to succeed in life.
