Founder Gigi Aulsebrook brings deep experience in humanitarian relief, displacement research, and human rights advocacy across the EU, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Syria. With a background in International Development and policy research, she applies digital tools to strengthen economic participation for marginalized populations.

Venture Founder

Gigi Aulsebrook is a dedicated leader and advocate with a passion for social impact. Gigi holds a bachelor’s in science in Geography and a Master of Science in International Development from the University of Bristol in England. She has spent a lot of her life dedicated to causes ranging from homelessness, breast cancer awareness, disaster response and refugee support.

She is currently the New Business Director of Aseel, a promising tech impact startup that has supported over half a million people in humanitarian situations. To date, Gigi has led a team to generate multiple accounts and contracts of the value of over 1 million USD and managing a potential portfolio of between 12 million USD of impact funds.

She is a published author in Oxford University's Forced Migration Review as well as with a publication on forced expulsion - known as "pushbacks" - of asylum seekers and refugees with the Left Party of the EU Parliament. At the age of 27, she is continuing to showcase her dedication to understanding and addressing complex global issues, whilst attempting to constructively contribute to them.
