HateShield
Venture Overview
HateShield is a technology platform that helps organizations and municipalities undermine hate, bullying, and biased content through crowdsourced flagging and bot algorithms that capture, analyze, and report harmful activity. Founder Yusuf Serag El-Din, a psychology graduate from the University of British Columbia and social entrepreneur, co-founded Ai Forte Solutions to blend human and technological solutions addressing systemic bias and institutional harm.

Venture Founder
Tariq Tyab is a community capacity builder, entrepreneur, and humanitarian with more than 20 years of experience in community service, business development, sales, marketing, and management. Known for breaking silos and building bridges, he has helped organizations connect with multicultural and faith-based community allies. He is a co-founder of the Foundation for a Path Forward, the Official Faith-Based Community Convener for Anti-Racism in British Columbia, as well as the Islam Unravelled Educational Initiative, the Muslim Food Bank, and Ai Forte Solutions. His work is driven by a vision to help others unlock their human potential.
Yusuf Siraj is a social entrepreneur and co-founder of the Foundation for a Path Forward, the Official Faith-Based Community Convener for Anti-Racism in British Columbia. With a background in psychology from the University of British Columbia and experience in social entrepreneurship, Yusuf is passionate about developing human-centered and technology-driven solutions to complex social challenges. In 2019, he co-founded Ai Forte Solutions with Tariq Tyab and Masood Hassan to further that mission.
