Helping Organizations Achieve Social & Environmental Goals Through The Innovative Ideas & Work Of World-Class Social Entrepreneurs.

Future-Ready Partnership

The environmental and social problems that organizations and municipalities face are real. They warrant innovative approaches that yield sustainable solutions that impact current and future stakeholders positively and measurably. Rally helps organizations and municipalities achieve their social and environmental goals by sourcing the innovative ideas and work of our world-class social entrepreneurs to solve identified challenges.

How Does It Work

Rally has operated a 16-week international social enterprise accelerator for over six years that has helped hundreds of social entrepreneurs transform their early-stage work into sustainable ventures that create positive and measurable social or environmental change. Through this program, organizations and municipalities leverage our Fellows to identify innovative solutions and approaches to connectivity, education, employment, energy, waste, water, soil, food, health and safety, materials, mobility, placemaking, and economic challenges and initiatives. As a Future-Ready Partner, organizations or municipalities are provided with the following:

  • Opportunities to support Fellows' ventures through paid pilots.

  • Participation in applicant selection for the accelerator program.

  • Coordinated 1-on-1 or group engagements with Fellows to learn about and vet potential solutions and ideas.

  • Leadership and Mentoring opportunities for internal staff to coach and assist Fellows and their social ventures.

  • Access to Rally's network of over 100 social entrepreneurs and their ventures.

  • Opportunities to support Fellow's social ventures through paid pilots and grants.

Future-Ready Partnership At Work

Energy & Waste Reduction

Kolumi, founded by Rally Fellow Joey Genovesi, which uses recycled aluminum, glass, and plastic to create sustainable lighting systems, was selected by the City of Orlando to test its technology in city-owned garages.

The company's systems reduce energy consumption by 60-80%, reduce carbon footprint by more than 80% and require no maintenance for up to seven to 10 YEARS. The best part? When the light has lived its life, it's also 100% recyclable, leaving zero waste behind.

After an initial trial, the city will evaluate the cost savings compared to traditional LED lighting and will look to apply the Kolumi technology in more places throughout the city.

Soil & Water Protection

WriggleBrew, founded by Rally Fellow Samuel Baker, is an organic fertilizer and pesticide derived from worm castings that drastically reduce the levels of nitrogen, phosphate, and potash found in traditional options. The City of Orlando selected the venture to test the product as a cost-effective and environmentally friendly fertilizer alternative at Leu Gardens, a 50-acre botanical oasis minutes from Downtown Orlando.

After an initial trial, the city will evaluate the data and cost savings compared to traditional fertilizers and pesticides and will look to use WriggleBrew at the 148 parks, including gardens, recreation areas, neighborhood centers, and playgrounds, that it manages.
